Statement of Faith
A shortened confession of our Faith
1. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God.
2. We believe in the personal and eternal God as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
3. We believe man was created in the holy image of God, lost that image in the Fall and therefore all are sinners before God.
4. We believe Jesus Christ has made atonement for sin and given salvation to all who repent and believe.
5. We believe without regeneration by the Holy Ghost man is forever outside of fellowship with God.
6. We believe Christ has a visible church, the body of all believers and it is good and profitable for Christians to join together for word and sacrament.
7. We believe Jesus Christ is the head of the church and has instituted a believer's baptism and holy communion.
8. We believe in the blessing of children and the responsibility or parents to train their children in the admonition of the Lord.
9. We believe in the personal. premillennial, and imminent return of Jesus Christ in great power and glory.
10. We believe the dead shall rise and give account for their lives, the righteous to life and unrighteous to condemnation.
11. We believe in the autonomy of the local congregation under Jesus Christ.
12. We believe in the christian responsibility of stewardship of our material resources.

"For where the church is, there is the Spirit of God, and where the Spirit of God, there is the church."
Irenaeus of Lyons
